No kill, responsible shelter for animals. Has dog obedience classes that are helpful. Volunteers help keep the place very clean and healthy for the animals and visitors. Nice facility.
The staff here do an amazing job taking care of the animals, finding them the right home. If you are looking to adopt a pet cone here!!
Really good no-kill shelter. We thought we were going to have to part with our 2 small dogs because of where we lived, but had a positive turn of events that allowed us to keep them. A word of caution, if you need to relinquish a dog and they have you bring them in for "temperament test"....IF the dogs do well with their animal behaviorist on this test, NCAL WILL take them right then and there. I was under the impression that the relinquish part would be done on another day. The shelter manager was gracious in that she helped us even though we didn't live in that county, however I felt it was misleading NOT to tell us that the relinquish could occur immediately after the temperament test. When my husband made the decision to bring them back home with us, I didn't feel a whole lot of understanding from ncal. Also ncal is NOT a vet and shouldn't be giving medical advice (saying that a vet would refuse to vaccinate our dogs because they had bad teeth...our vet vaccinated no problem)...so I didn't appreciate that uninformed advisement either.

Loved this place... We found our fur baby Blessing here. Adopting her was the best. Adopted dogs have this thank full feel.... i mean you can tell they are great full.
